Wonderful to see that Una is still a force in Scottish Theatre. She was a neighbour of ours in the late 60's when we lived in 16 Roxburgh st Hillhead and our daughter Susan, who was only 2 years old when we returned to Australia is somewhat of a force in Oz theatre herself having been through NIDA and she manages to have steady work in film and theatre here.My name was Jane Prior then and I was a nurse at the Western Infirmary. I remember Una being really shattered when her daughter was knocked by a car at ? Helensburgh.I don't remember her having injuries, much to Una's great relief. Pardon my little rush of memories...she probably doesn't even remember me or my then husband Fergus.,but I like to think that she might!
A blog following the production of Jules Horne's new play "Gorgeous Avatar". It is being premiered at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in May 2006 and then will tour the Borders, Highlands & Islands of Scotland.
